Position Summary
The Human Resources Support Assistant will be responsible for working in a fast paced environment, providing daily support to the VP of Human Resources and a team of Human Resources Business Partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Provide human resources support to the management team, which includes monthly reports for Finance * Approve and/or prepare various payroll paperwork, such as New Hire and Separation forms * Responsible for researching and resolving payroll/HR issues, serving as a liaison between the HR Services Center and employees * Maintain knowledge about the various systems and resources utilized by our employees, such as our HR portal, performance management, and company intranet.
This is an entry level admin support position requiring the candidate to have extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Qualifications
* Associates degree preferred , 1-3 years experience in administartive support required * Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with a high degree of expertise in Excel and Powerpoint. * Must be highly accurate with demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues. * Strong team player with dedication to offering excellent service to all levels of employees. * Resourcefulness in gathering data and getting answers to policy questions. * Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage workload effectively with competing demands for resources and time. * General knowledge of HR practices and procedures. Payroll, Benefit and PeopleSoft experience a plus
