Posted Position Title Human Resources Representative Career Level Entry-Level Function Human Resources Function Segment HR Client Support Location United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces Ohio City Cincinnati Postal Code 45215-1988 Relocation Assistance No Role Summary/Purpose The Human Resources (HR) Representative will provide HR generalist support for assigned client areas, assist with HR processes such as staffing and pipeline development for salaried groups, and union relations for hourly groups. In this role, you will partner with business managers to define and drive HR programs to meet short-term / long term goals and enhance organizational effectiveness. In this role, you will participate / lead broader Assembly, Test, & Overhaul HR projects. Essential Responsibilities This role is part of the Assembly, Test and Overhaul (ATO) operations for GE Aviation. In this role, you will support a cross-functional Supply Chain and Engineering Engine Test team in Evendale, including exempt, nonexempt, and hourly groups. In this role, you will feature heavy emphasis on exempt talent and pipeline development, and support of ATO HR projects. In this role, you will:
* Provide HR support to management and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices
* Provide support for the development of annual reviews, job design, staffing, compensation and organizational change effectiveness
* Support leaders on HR issues; including policies, procedures, practices, staffing and organization
* Provide support on change initiatives including planning, facilitating, etc.
* Provide support for the development and execution of a communication plan to ensure effective two-way communication takes place
* Assure that appropriate training opportunities are in place
* Investigate and provide advice and council regarding concerns about policies, procedures, practices or contractual issues
* Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment
* Assist in developing sources of qualified candidates, screening, testing and selection of applicants
* Be responsible for driving OFCCP compliance, including coordination of EEO1 and AAP reporting
* Provide support to key HR processes such as e-HR dashboard, annual HR review (Session C), compensation planning, communication, and performance management Qualifications/Requirements * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a human resources position) Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
