Experience: The ideal candidate will have experience in a start-up environment, preferably in an independent school setting. Successful candidates will have a strong academic background, knowledge of working with a wide range of clients and experience with a diverse employee base such as salaried, part-time, and contract employees . This position will be interacting with all staff, students and families of students; experience working with diverse personalities is instrumental in the success of this role.
This position truly requires a roll up your sleeves type attitude as the candidate will be implementing benefit plans, payroll systems, employee relations plans and policies, compensation, employee handbooks and the creation of an HR department. HRIS management is also important for a candidates to have had experience with. Global experience is an additional plus for a professional to have as the institution is looking to expand rapidly.
