Vertis Communications is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner based in Manassass, VA to drive key member of the Vertis management team is strategically aligned with local Vertis facility leadership and supports the delivery of business stragegy through employee development and engagement. Additionally, this HR leader serves as the focal point for the facility's day-to-day operational HR business needs. Through organizational planning, culture development, talent selection, retention and development, this strategic HR partnership helps link corporate, business and employee objectives to achieve increased business results. This position is part of a team of high-level, strategic HR leaders who each have consulative relationships with the various facilities within Vertis. Required Skills
Strategic Human Resources Planning, Ensuring strong customer focus and service within the facility, Serving as a change agent to improve business performance, Building trust and credibility within the facility, Coaching and Advising, Providing and ensuring high impact communications throughout the facility, Fostering a positive work environment, Managing compliance issues related to all HR related regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures, Providing a high level of HR services, services include benefits and compensation administration, HR recordkeeping, employee relations, recruiting and staffing, training and development. Required Experience
5+ years Generalist Human Resources experience. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. Proven success with attracting and acquiring talent at all levels of an organization Experience in supporting manufacturing facilities; 24/7 environments. Through knowledge of employment law, organizational development techniques and compensation strategies. Experience in payroll and human resources application. Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Highly motivated and energetic with ability to think outside the norm. Excellent follow through. Project management, analysis and planning capabilities.
