We are looking for an Administrative Services Manager who would be responsible for Human Resources and running the office. This is a salaried position and the highlights of the position are listed below. POSITION SUMMARY: Overall responsibility for the Human Resources Department in ensuring that Midwest Home Care meets all Federal, State, and Midwest Home Care regulations and policies. Responsible for recruiting, safety, workers compensation, employment laws, compensation, and employment practices. Provides counseling to administrative staff on staff performance, corrective actions, and complaint process. Maintains wage and salary grids, and performs wage analysis for caregivers. The Administrative Services Manager will be responsible for directing, planning, and communicating all benefits for the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Manage HR functions significant input with hiring process, pre-screening applicants, and setting up interviews with qualified candidates; conduct new hire orientations; facilitate new hire paperwork including background and reference checks and payroll set up; consult on counseling statements and periodic performance evaluations; attend counseling statements as needed; maintain employee files; process all unemployment, workers compensation and other HR paperwork; resolve caregiver complaints or concerns and following through to ensure quick, courteous resolution; manage all separation paperwork and appointments and discharge caregivers when necessary. 2. Provide HR subject matter expertise in review of changes to state and federal regulations pertaining to home health care. 3. Manage Office Functions Prioritize and organize work flow of all office functions including: manage payroll & timesheet processing, coordinate office activities, maintain company documentation, maintain client files, prepare and publish monthly newsletter, serve as first point of contact for all incoming calls, purchase and maintain office supplies, fax, voicemail and mail retrieval and disbursement; monitor and manage maintenance of all office equipment; maintain all electronic documents for caregivers and clients; Qualifications: 3-4 years of general work experience BS degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience Emphasis in recruiting Skilled at multi-tasking, working well under pressure and managing time Experience with home care environment a plus Able to wear many hats and so what needs to be done For immediate consideration please send your resume to [click on "Apply Online" button] Location: Madison Compensation: negotiable Principals only.
