California MENTOR is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the HR function within the state. We are looking for an individual who can identify opportunities and develop solutions. The successful candidate will be excellent at working with data, identifying trends and developing reports to assist the HR team and Operations understand the numbers. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing Workers Compensation, Leave Administration, Unemployment and engage in employee development. In addition, this individual will conduct internal investigations, HR projects and help implement company initiatives. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources and will support and collaborate with the HR and Operations teams to ensure our actions are strategically aligned with business direction.
Qualifications Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of three years of experience in a HR Generalist role.
- Experience with California Leaves, Workers Compensation and Unemployment
- Strong computer and analytical skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with Oracle, K-base and Taleo preferred
- Experience working with large workforces distributed across many small sites such as healthcare, retail or restaurant industries is preferred.
- PHR preferred.
