Summary Under the general direction of our Human Resources Management team our Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the administration and coordination of all Human Resources functions to include but not limited to: compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, recognition and retention while ensuring compliance with applicable company, state and federal requirements. Job Responsibilities There are currently two roles available: Both require an emphasis on Employee Relations & Benefits. We are searching for any combination of the experience listed below provided the knowledge base meets our business needs. Provide consultation to HR representatives in the field regarding Company process, policy and compliance. Administer employee benefits plans (insurance and 401k retirement programs). Assist with investigating employee relation issues, training leaders on employment law & corporate policy and processes, conduct team-building activities & monitor turnover and employee retention. Successful candidate should be well-versed in Employee Relations related to: FMLA, ADA, diversity, performance management, corrective action, behavioral issues and harassment intervention. Assist with preparation of new hire offers, relocation agreements, promotional offers and associated documents. Create and maintain various HR related reports. Conduct new hire orientation on a weekly basis. Assist with employee recognition and company events. Provide assistance with immigration process. Experience with internal / external EEO-1 reporting, planning and overall organizational metrics. Assist with Health & Welfare programs including but not limited to medical assistance, financial assistance & group programs. Track and administer COBRA benefits and input employee data as necessary. Preferred but not required Ability to be the liaison between employees and management to ensure fair and consistent treatment. Experience reviewing and investigating internal/ external complaints and charges, as well as incidents of misconduct in order to ensure consistency, internal equity, legal compliance and mitigation of third party intervention. Must have the ability to use knowledge of applicable law, policies and procedures to assist managers in resolving issues. Requirements Degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred but not required. 3-5 years in HR, including 2 years in employee relations and benefits. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS office, Excel and PowerPoint. Team player that is well versed in client support & customer service.
