Job Summary: Plans, directs, implements, and oversees human resources policies and activities such as compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, and communications for a specific group of office or plant locations by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Develops and executes HR vision, strategy and goals to align HR practices and activity with the business strategy, goals and objectives - Develops and implements human resources practices and policies to enable organization to fulfill business expectations while complying with state and federal laws - Responsible for developing and managing the annual budget and forecast for the enterprise-wide HR function - Oversees organization’s total rewards strategy to include benefits administration and annual compensation planning - Oversees organization’s talent management activity to include performance management, leadership development, and cultural development - Oversees organization’s employee relations to maintain a values-based employer/employee relationship - Oversees the HR administration to effectively manage the organization’s risk associated with the employer/employee relationship and employment decisions - Directs development and maintenance of human resources information systems to ensure record keeping and reporting requirements are accurate and timely - Collects and analyzes data to identify trends, conduct underlying root cause analysis and develop solutions to overcome business problems. - Advises senior management in the appropriate resolution of business related issues. Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages up to 6 direct reports and an extended team of up to 15 HR professionals. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
