Human Resources Coordinator Post Date: 07/19/2010 Location: Langley , BC Assignment: Temporary-to-full-time Pay Rate: $35,000 to $40,000 per year Job Order Number: Requirements: The right candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, able to meet tight deadlines and work in a team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a similar role. If you have previous experience coordinating and participating in the recruitment process, including selection, appointment process, preparing reports, we want to hear from you. Identifying, reviewing, and advising on tasks related to the recruitment process and employment strategies to meet human resources requirements and establishing, organizing and supervising the maintenance of department records are also pre requisites for this role. Description: Our client in Langley is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join their dynamic team! This position entails providing guidance, support, and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of Human Resources department. The main responsibility of the HR coordinator is to assist the HR manager in every aspect of human resources by responding to any mail queries of employee. Most HR coordinators assist the administration including updating, filing spreadsheets, reference checking, invoicing, and issuing of letters and contracts. Responsibilities will include leading day-to-day payroll administration, including bi-weekly payroll processing, collecting timesheets, and acting as initial degree of contact for inquiries and issues related to payroll.
