Summary: This is a full-time position that provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources Group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs:
Serve as back-up for Controller in entering data in payroll system
HR-related customer service to company employees and managers
Assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department functions and duties
Answer HR-related questions via phone and email communication including general questions regarding HR processes and procedures; escalate issues as required by defined processes
Identify and provide solutions to routine business matters requiring minimum direction from supervisor/manager
Maintain confidential employee records
Assist HR Director in confidential HR related special projects
Serve as back-up for Benefits Administrator in Insurance Company calls and Company Benefits
Coordinate Company events and functions as assigned
Assist with administration of Share Purchase Plan
Input data in HR personnel system
Maintain good working relationships
Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Microsoft Office – Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 3 to 5 years experience
Proven experience in handling diverse projects simultaneously, setting priorities and schedules
Quick learner, strong organizational skills and high energy
Working knowledge and/or familiarity of the industry
Maintain a high level of confidentiality
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Perform work with strict adherence to company standards and applicable regulatory requirements
Develop cooperative professional relationships with peers and management
Demonstrate integrity, pride, accountability and dedication to the organization
