Human Resources Business Partner
As a member of the site executive committee the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for leading all talent acquisitions, talent management, and development initiatives in support of the site's business strategy. The HRBP promotes, communicates and implements organizational-wide Human Resources initiatives and may assist in their development. The HRBP is directly responsible for the overall management, administration, coordination, and evaluation of the Human Resources Department.
Aligns Human Resource Department goals and objectives to the business strategy.
Participates in the campus/metro annual budgeting and forecasting process of headcounts and new positions.
Manages the Human Resource function and staff. Develops and administers the annual department budget.
Responsible for strategic and proactive recruiting in line with the talent acquisition strategy and designated metrics. Personally interviews all candidates at Director level and above. Approves all salary offers, and oversees the background/drug test and on boarding process.
Supports local management in implementing and executing the talent review and succession planning and talent development processes.
Manages the performance management process by facilitating the goal setting process and the calibration/performance management processes.
Maintains positive employee relations and manages the conflict resolution process. Ensures the overall maintenance and data integrity of the information within the DeVry Commons and payroll for their employee population.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum of a Bachelors degree, Masters preferred
Certified to conduct leadership training initiatives.
8+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience and 3+ year of supervisory experience required.
Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR or SPHR) required. Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) and/or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification a plus.
