The Human Resources Associate will provide support to the Human Resource Department Recruiting team to include the following functions:
- processing background checks - drafting offer letters - prescreening resumes - arranging interviews for the team and hiring managers; drafting interview documents - willingness to source candidates - providing administrative support,e.g., gather data, copy materials and process mailings; process invoices
Must perform position within an established code of ethics and maintain confidentiality of all employee data Experience: Minimum Qualifications: - College Degree - 1+ years experience in a Human Resources support position - Knowledge of standard Human Resources practices, office procedures, and recordkeeping - Accurate spelling, grammar, punctuation, and proofreading - Skilled in software applications Word, Outlook, Excel and a database application or HRIS (Peoplesoft HR a plus) - Ability to answer phones - Ability to perform arithmetic, including percentages accurately - Ability to perform data entry and word processing accurately - Ability to type 50 wpm - Ability to read and understand reference books and procedure manuals - Ability to think logically and solve automation problems - Ability to interact with all levels of staff in a professional manner - Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
