The Human Resources Associate performs professional human resources tasks in a variety of human resources programs. Primary responsibilities are to support DISH Network business partners with their HR needs such as recruitment, employee relations, and compliance, training and general compensation and benefits issues.
· Coordinates human resources activities with business partners and human resources manager and team members to ensure that required HR tasks are completed on time and to expectations.
· May coordinate recruiting activities such as background checks and drug screens, new hire orientation and paperwork, phone screens and interviewing.
· May coordinate compensation activities such as data entry, compensation committee auditing, Performance Appraisal audits and salary validation.
· May assist in benefits activities such as helping employees complete paperwork, verifying enrollment, answering the Benefits Customer Service Line and email, and conducting benefits orientation.
· May assist with training programs by putting together materials and assisting in courses.
· Follows directions from superiors on specific human resources tasks.
· Maintains working knowledge of DISH HR policies and procedures to be able to communicate with departments on all human resources and corporate initiatives.
· Prepares and maintains human resources related reports and distributes as appropriate.
· Performs administrative functions including but not limited to: filing, data entry, and assisting employees with forms and the employee self-service kiosk.
· Required to move, remain flexible and quickly change from one task to the next as business needs change.
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university, and at least one year related experience and/or training. Solid knowledge of local, state and federal laws governing recruiting and employment issues. |
