Position Overview:


 


MayCom is searching for a professional Human Resource Manager to guide and manage the human resource functions, policies, and programs of the organization.  The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for the recruiting and ongoing development of a productive workforce that operates in a high performance culture which emphasizes execution.  The Human Resources Manager will report directly to the Controller and advise company managers about human resource related issues.


 


Responsibilities:


 



  • Recruit and staff all levels of the organization.

  • Administer scheduling, payroll, compensation plans, and benefits package.

  • Perform termination of employees, conduct exit interviews, and participate in unemployment hearings.

  • Comply with all labor and regulatory requirements.

  • Update employee handbook and policy and procedure manual.

  • Oversee process for performance reviews, write-ups, and employee disciplinary actions.

  • Provide current and prospective employees information about policies, job descriptions, compensation and benefits, and promotion opportunities.

  • Ensure all orientation and training is completed including sexual harassment, workers compensation, and safety programs.

  • Analyze and develop compensation plans that are competitive, drive growth, and are aligned with company objectives.

  • Work with brokers on benefit renewal and 401(k) administration.

  • Maintain all human resource information systemically in point of sale system.

  • Develop employee newsletter and coordinate company functions.

  • Monitor, measure, and report on human resource issues and opportunities.

  • Manage and control expenditures within budget.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required.

  • Minimum five years of human resource experience required.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Solid organizational skills, goal oriented, and highly motivated.

  • Strong negotiating skills with the ability to architect and drive change.

  • High level of financial and business acumen.

  • Team player with high integrity.

  • Proficiency with technology and software analysis tools.
