SCOPE & MISSION:
As an integral member of ServiceMaster’s Human Resources Team, the HRIS Project Manager will be responsible for managing small to large scale cross-functional technology projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of people related processes and the use of employee data to drive business processes and address reporting requirements. He/She will partner with leaders across the ServiceMaster enterprise to prioritize and implement HRIS related services that are consistent with and support the strategies of the enterprise and individual businesses. The HRIS Project Manager will develop roadmaps and lead the implementations of multiple projects while providing on-going support as a critical Subject Matter Expert. The HRIS Project Manager will also manage ongoing data and reporting requests.
The HRIS Project Manager will define all system and business process requirements and solutions in collaboration with management and key stakeholders across multiple functions, but primarily HR and Information Technology (IT). This role is also responsible for managing the analysis and implementation of HR initiatives across HR functional areas such as compensation & talent acquisition.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide project management for large cross-functional HR projects to include assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately.
Assist in the establishment of project management processes, methodologies, planning delivery standards and monitoring techniques to ensure projects are delivered according to quality, cost, and timeline commitments.
Guide and lead operational activities for HRIS team.
Collaborate with finance and IT teams to monitor project costs.
Identify requirements, conduct analysis, and implement process improvements through the use of technology for HR business processes.
As a liaison to IT, work with IT for all technology implementations including new systems, upgrades, connectivity and interfaces.
Provide leadership in the area of change management as new tools and technologies are deployed.
Ensure high level of service to all system users and high quality delivery through vendor governance.
Development of full scale project plans that define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
Provideguidance and technical expertise to HR System Administrator for daily system administration (i.e. end User security) and data management.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Science (or related field) required or equivalent combination of experience and education
5+ years experience in a project management role focused on leveraging HR technology, the flow of employee data, and the HR processes which support the business
At least 2-3 years leading cross functional projects to implement and enhance HR technology
PMP Certification and/or knowledge of JD Edwards systems strongly preferred
COMPENSATION:
Depending on the skills & experiences of the individual we hire, we are anticipating a base salary of approximately $90,000 – 115,000 + bonus, as well as an outstanding overall benefits packages including medical/dental benefits, 401-K, etc. Relocation assistance is available, but local candidates are strongly preferred.
