HR Services Coordinator B\C

The Strategic Missile & Defense Systems Human Resources (HR) organization is implementing an onsite, high touch HR Service Center in Huntsville, Alabama. HR service centers provide one-on-one, personalized assistance with questions about human resources topics and procedures. Services are available for walk-ins or by phone and e-mail, so employees who do not have a center nearby can get personal support. Service areas include, but are not limited to: Leaves of absence, career development, staffing, redeployment, HR policies & procedures and other general HR assistance. This position will be responsible for coordination of well being activities for the Huntsville site. This full time position requires daily face to face customer interaction. Responds to employees inquiries regarding company policies and procedures. Serves as employee advocate and identifies resources to resolve issues. Instructs employees on the use of Human Resources self service applications. Creates ad hoc reports and provides data to support trend analysis and HR metrics. Prepares presentation materials, assists with training workshops and facilitates team meetings. Inputs data into HR systems. Provides data and information to HR Generalists.

Typical Education/Experience
Level B - High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level C - High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Job related information
Strong excel skills/experience preferred.
