HR Generalist
Human Resources Generalist position - duties include the ability to learn & understand recruiting system. Perform bkgrd checks on new hires. Conduct new Hire orientations and terminations, including gathering the required documents, scheduling w/depts, sending out new hire and termination emails. Benefit Administration: enrole & terminate employees in the medical, dental, vision, etc, reconcile monthly bills, manage Open Enrollment, work w/broker on renewals, work w/vendors to problem solve, maintain employee deductions. 401(k) plan administration: enrollment, plan updates, distributions Manage leaves of absence, which are primarily FMLA, making sure correct paperwork is complete, track the leave, help employees understand how the leave works, etc. Timesheet administration: understand & maintain the system, answer qustions, reset passwords, train new employees, create training materials, etc. Manage all aspects of Immigration: work w/immigration atty on H1b visas and green cards, complete I9s and maintain records Maintain employee files in HRIS (CP), ensuring bi-wkly changes are entered & work w/payroll Lead the Safety Committee: schedule & facilitate qtrly mtgs, take mtg minutes, manage WC claims. Employee relations: work w/legal counsel as needed Point of contact for performance management process and for the ergonomic program. Maintain HR Intranet website
