Job Description GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for a variety of human resources programs and policies, often encompassing several areas of human resources, including organizational development, operations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, or training. Assignments may include development, implementation, and evaluation of programs or policies, and may focus on service delivery within a segment of the firm, providing advice and recommendations. May provide input to or define short and long-term goals and objectives for human resource service delivery.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other related fields.
Provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems. Uses judgment within defined policies and practices.
Works under limited direction. Determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met.
Contributes to the development of organization's goals and objectives. Failure to obtain results or erroneous judgments or recommendations would normally have serious results and may require substantial expenditure of resources to correct and/or achieve project goals.
Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contact. Represents the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership role and/or may supervise the activities of lower level personnel (exempt and non-exempt).
