We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator/Recruiter to provide human resource support to our Performance Surfaces & Materials (PS&M) business in Kennesaw, GA.

This person will primarily focus on providing support to the general employee population and support the HR team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with HRIS and Applicant Tracking systems to process new hire paperwork, background checks and other documentation and to provide service directly to candidates fielding inquiries related to these processes.
• Coordinate with HR Generalist to ensure all recruiting activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner including required documentation and on-boarding.
• Manage the recruiting process for non-exempt and other positions as needed.
• Partner with HR team members to provide market compensation data and execute compensation process. Responsible for all reporting & metrics related to compensation process.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and other HR related programs.
• Partner with senior level HR employees when appropriate to support employee development and support employee training and handling of class logistics as needed.
• Manage all leave administration including training employees on FMLA, accurate/timely reporting and communications with employees
• Proactively generate reports from various HRIS systems (AAP, Recruiting, Attendance, Compensation, etc.)
• Ensure accurate employee information within HRIS, Applicant Tracking and Time & Attendance systems
• Maintain employee master records and ensure the highest level of confidentiality with electronic and paper documents related to employees
• Provide administrative support for HR related activities (recruiting, training, travel, etc.)
• Take on smaller scope projects on an as needed basis.
• Solid analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to foster excellent relationships and credibility at all levels of the organization
• Excellent organization and follow-up skills
• Demonstrated self motivation, drive and initiative
• Ability to protect and maintain confidential employee information
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a time-sensitive fast-paced environment
• Aptitude for learning new integrated computer systems (HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, SharePoint, etc.)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• 0-2 years HR experience as a generalist and/or recruiter, utilizing knowledge of employment and labor law.
• Experience with MS Office products including Word – formatting/creating letters and tables, Power Point – creating presentations from start to finish, and Excel – sorting and extracting data and creating charts.
• Previous experience with HRIS, Applicant Tracking and Time & Attendance systems, preferred

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• 4 year college degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
