Position Summary:
The Role:
As part of the HR Consulting Team within EMEA and the larger HR community including Training and Recruiting, the respective candidate will be responsible for all HR consulting activities within a dedicated region. As part of the regional responsibilities, he/she will also have some EMEA-wide responsibilities and actively work on pan-geography and international programs and projects together with team colleagues and Headquarters. The role reports into the Director Human Resources EMEA.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Builds up strategic partnership with managers to enhance business
- Handles all aspects of human resources with managers and associates
- Manages correspondence (external / internal / certificates etc.)
- Liaises with Recruiting, Red Hat University, Payroll and Finance
- Provides information and interpretation of employment laws
- Coordinates and communicates employee benefits in own region in close cooperation with HQ
- Conducts and enhances onboarding process within own region
- Works with HR Director and HQ to review compensation and performance structure
- Coordinates training initiatives and provides support in employee relations
- Handles human resources related reports as appropriate

Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration or equivalent
- Some years experience in Human Resources; preferably in a technology environment
- Good knowledge of HR-based policies and practices
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Germany, international of advantage
- Strong communication, administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent German and English skills
- Strong interpersonal, relationship and team building skills
- Business acumen with a drive to understand the business and create HR programs to support it
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work as part of a young and dynamic team whilst demonstrating flexibility, autonomy and a desire to make things happen
