Position Summary The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support with Human Resources documentation & training co ordination. This role will also provide other additional support to the Human Resources department as needed, reporting to the HR Manager.
Responsibilities
Set up new staff for all required training sessions Schedule existing staff for all renewal training sessions Coordination of all training sessions Preparation of training schedule Prepare training materials for use at training sessions Provide support to trainers Prepare all session handouts Maintain accurate up to date training records Monitor training feedback and evaluation, Member of Training Committee/Diversity Committee Run Crystal Reports Run Quarterly Reports for management team Inputting of data entry & filing Provide assistance to Recruiter as required Other administrative tasks as required Back up for Benefits/Payroll Administration
Other requirements:
Provide administrative support to other areas of HR Department as available/needed
Qualifications
A Human Resources Management Diploma; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong knowledge of ESA (Employment Standards Act) and other relevant legislation. Proficient in usage of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Power Point. Ability to use Internet/Web browsers. Experience with HRIS Systems (InSync, Crystal Reports preferrred) High energy level, comfortable performing multi-faceted tasks in conjunction with day to day activities. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature and flexible. Ability to establish credibility and be decisive but able to recognize and support the organization�s vision and priorities
