Job Responsibilities * Various administrative duties (filing, coping, data entry, etc.) * Basic Recruiting: posting job opportunities, performing resume searches * Assisting with On-boarding/Off-boarding: background checks, employment/education verification, preparing offer packages, orientations, and exit interviews. * Employee Relations: answering inquiries from employees, resolving issues and complaints, and maintaining training manuals and policies. * Assisting with Benefits Administration: sourcing benefit companies, adding/removing employees to and managing benefits plans, reviewing provider bills for accuracy, and tracking staff PTO and Vacation times. * Assisting with Payroll Administration: adding/removing employees, timekeeping, working in tandem with accounting to ensure seamless payroll processing and Requirements * Willingness to complete various projects on a last minute basis or on long-term deadline * Be a true team player willing to roll up his/her sleeves and assist as needed * Experience in Human Resources (Benefits, payroll, ADP, etc.) * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Not afraid to ask questions * Quick learner * Proficient in Microsoft Office products * Able to work independently and maintain confidentialityAbout the Company The non profit organization works with more than 700 state and local Child Care Resource and Referral agencies nationwide.
