Develop and lead in-store strategies to drive Private Brand sales. Provide leadership to a cross functional team responsible for defining and executing merchandising standards and identifying sales opportunities across regions and districts.
Key Relationships:
MMG: Chief Private Brand Officer; President and COO Private Brand; Senior Leadership for Planning, Marketing, Visual and Shop Development
Macy's Inc: Chief Stores Officer; RDOS; Senior Leadership for Stores, Planning and Merchandise Execution Planning and Merchandise Execution
Responsibilities:
Provide directional leadership to both Field and Merchandise Execution Management teams to drive private brand sales.
Define and implement private brand in-store support strategies across all FOBs including; RDMs, in-store stock support (both MMG funded and third party), selling contests and event support.
Bring the voice of the stores and customer feedback to all key stake holders to influence product, assortment and sales results.
Build strategies to maximize growth opportunities for private brand businesses by region and district.
Provide required leadership to drive private brand strategies down to the door level with an emphasis on growth opportunities.
Build sustainable partnerships with Merchandise Execution counterparts to ensure alignment of directives ie; ensuring alignment of zone-o-grams and brand guides.
Lead Central Merchandise Execution leadership team to define and execute program strategies.
Ensure alignment and support of Macy's Inc Selling culture and maintain a strong partnership with the Macy's Inc Selling Effectiveness team.
Achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness at all levels inclusive of process, budget and travel.
Qualifications:
Senior level executive with both merchandising and field experience
Ability to effectively influence senior executives within MMG and across Macy's Inc
