The Interactive Account Director is the primary contact of the agency /client relationship. S/he will lead the agency team, developing and executing digital strategy solutions that meet client expectations and business objectives. The right person for this position will be prepared for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and be at ease making decisions.


 


Position Details:


This position manages client strategy development and implementation, as it relates to interactive and digital marketing. This includes:



  • Responsibility of overall account retention, profitability, and growth.

  • Developing and maintaining strong client/agency relationships with high-level marketing executives, as the primary point of contact for various accounts.

  • Liaising between clients and internal teams on conception and execution of digital marketing projects, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and on budget.

  • Contributing to strategic planning by developing and presenting integrated proposals, creative briefs, estimates, and creative materials to client.

  • Identifying opportunities to create new business with existing clients by researching clients’ business and related industry trends.

  • Supervises overall performance for account team members.


 



Credentials:


 


The qualified candidate will showcase esteemed account experience, ensuring flawless execution of a digital marketing strategy. This will be apparent in the applicant who exhibits:



  • 5 or more years experience with promotional acquisition and retention marketing, through interactive media including social media, web, mobile and email, but is also familiar with direct print marketing, TV and radio.

  • The ability to communicate client strategy to internal teams and coordinate customized design between client and internal creative and technical teams.

  • The ability to think strategically and act independently while leading with professionalism and clarity.

  • Excellent time management, analytical, listening, verbal & written communication skills, as well as strong and confident presentation skills.

  • Innate inquisitiveness and aptitude with the ability to see the big picture



 Requirements:


 



  • Bachelor Degree in marketing, advertising or related discipline.

  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally 2-3 days a month.

  • Familiar with social media and analysis, including Google and Facebook ad campaigns

  • Hands on with the ability to load and manage online ad units both static and animated.

  • Manage internal and external resources to develop and code HTML for email/micro sites.

  • SMS / text and other mobile marketing experience a plus.
