The Fleet Operations Director is responsible for oversight and coordination of Fleet Operations for the vessels assigned to the Global marine Fleet. Fleet Operations includes the provision of vessel crew and specialist operators, efficient movement of vessels and crews to their assigned locations, budgeting and cost management of the vessels, technical support and reliable operation of the vessels.
· Actively promote and comply with all QHSE policies and procedures · Assist in communicating QHSE goals throughout the organization. · Ensure that the company vessel operating procedures are current, relevant and efficient, and incompliance with required laws and regulations and that vessels are operated in accordance with these procedures · Vessel mariner and specialist operator crewing, recruiting and training programs, crew logistics, personnel development, succession planning and mobility of personnel · Vessel annual budgeting, cost control and reporting · Vessel technical management including vendor and specialist support, spares inventory, preventative maintenance program, major equipment overhaul and dry-dock supervision and support · Vessel procurement and logistics coordination · Vessel catering · Coordination of inter-regional vessel movements · Input to vessel CAPEX planning and new vessel functional specifications · Participate as requested in project reviews for new build vessels or major vessel modifications · Provide assistance to or participate in incident investigations, HAZID’s, PEER and cold eye reviews Job Requirements :
· Maritime Degree or other related degree · 20+ years experience · Licensed Captain with DP experience · Vessel Construction Management and retrofitting experience preferred · Vessel operation management experience
