elearning Designer
Provide technical direction on design and development of web-based learning technology projects using rapid instructional design techniques; collaborate with web content owners, graphic designers and other project team members on requirements, design, development and implementation of projects using multimedia e-learning software authoring tool such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate Studio and applying SCORM e-learning management system standards; incorporate elements of Web 2.0, including blended learning such as blogs, wikis and social connectivity; maintain standard instructional guidelines, templates, fonts, style guides and writing guides for all learning objects pursuant to applicable trends in the learning industry and specific business needs; assist in training and coaching associates on effective design and development; participate in cross-functional design and development teams; administer learning management/learning content system using SumTotal or similar system; perform analysis, design, develop, code, troubleshoot, debug, implement, manage configuration and maintain software code and web sites; and contribute to building business cases for adult elearning.
Requirements:
Requires BS in Computer Science, Instructional Technology, or related field; 2-4 years of web design/development; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MS preferred. Experience supporting a training/learning organization preferred.
Software Skills needed: Adobe Captivate, Articulate Studio, Adobe Audition, Adobe Creative Suite (including Dreamweaver).
