Brief Role Description:
The Director contributes to sales success by systematically driving the strategy, planning and execution of the retail sales branches within a geographical region.
Key Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to, are:
Oversee a team of Managers responsible for presenting integrated voice, data, and internet services to potential clients. May be responsible for managing a portion of the sales efforts to raise visibility and market penetration in order to meet and exceed monthly revenue objectives.
Motivates sales leadership team to meet performance objectives - rewards positive performance and closely manages poor performance. Quickly recognizes managers who are underperforming and takes appropriate corrective action. Accurately assesses the strengths and weaknesses of others and assembles, deploys develops, empowers and inspires the right talent, at the right time, to get the job done.
Ability to develop and refine professional skills in individuals on sales management team.
Actively engaged in the recruiting process to ensure headcount objectives are met. Closely monitors turnover within team.
Meets management objectives regarding activity objectives, headcount and sales retention.
Ability to orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal.
Utilize evaluation and tracking systems to accurately report sales numbers, monthly forecasts and expenses. Maintain expertise in sales process and system management. Able to provide accurate and timely information as required.
Develops and implements plans and programs for improving and monitoring sales performance and productivity.
Develops and implements sales and marketing strategy in accordance with overall business objectives. Participates in planning sales strategy with sales team.

Position Requirements:
Past success managing a team of outside sales professionals to achieve consistent success, preferably in the telecom or technology services industries
Demonstrated success in sales, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage managers, clients and vendors in a sales/service environment.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Computer Skills:
MS office
Experience using a sales tracking tool
Work Environment / Travel / Hours:
Some regional travel required for new hire and on-going training
