Director of Recruiting



We are currently seeking a Director of Recruiting to join our Pittsburgh, PA practice.  This dynamic individual will support our existing Accounting/Finance, Internal Audit, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Legal Services, and Information Management disciplines.  Primary responsibilities include the sourcing, pre-screening, and interviewing of qualified professionals with the ultimate goal of developing and maintaining a diversified team of candidates/Consultants available for placement on open engagements.  This is a unique opportunity to leverage your existing technical skills, tap into your creativity, and satisfy that entrepreneurial drive.

 

Responsibilities

 


  • Develop a recruiting strategy that continually replenishes the candidate pipeline based on market condition, existing Consultant team, and current/projected client engagements.

  • Conduct in-depth behavioral interviews to properly assess skill set and competencies of candidates.

  • Plan and participate in events for candidates and client development, such as job fairs, industry conferences, etc.

  • Assist the client service team by documenting candidate profiles, checking references, and determining Consultant "matches" for open client engagements.

  • Manage Consultant team by initiating regular communication with Consultants to reduce "unassigned time" and ensure that Consultants' expectations are being met.

  • Present Consultant recruitment development updates at weekly team meetings, participate in business development discussions, and develop new recruiting strategies based on current client needs.

  • Manage various recruiting responsibilities such as maintenance and mailings, placement of newspaper/internet advertising, EEOC requirement documentation, periodic re-examination of overall recruiting process and training of new recruiting managers.

 

Professional Qualifications

 


  • Minimum Requirements: Eight (8) years of successful recruiting experience, preferably in professional services industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute recruiting strategy which identifies appropriate target companies, industries and professional organizations to source for A+ candidates for Consultant roles.

  • Strong communication skills including the ability to articulate via the telephone and in person.

  • 4-year bachelor degree.

  • Big Four or consulting firm recruiting experience strongly preferred.

  • Technically proficient with all aspects of Internet recruiting.

  • An extensive professional network in the Pittsburgh area is a plus.

  • Experience in performing technical interviews for professionals in AF, IA, IM, SCM and or HC.

  • Professional certification a plus.

Reporting

 

The Director of Recruiting reports to the local Office Managing Director.
