We are currently looking for a Director of Recruiting to join our New York, NY practice. Under the administrative supervision of the Managing Director, the Director of Recruiting has primary responsibility for sourcing, pre-screening, and interviewing qualified professionals, with the ultimate goal of developing and maintaining a diversified pool of candidates/Consultants. The primary components of this role are outlined below.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate exceptional talent in selecting Applicants who represent Resources well and who elevate the team. Build an effective recruiting strategy that aligns with the business; utilizing market metrics, analyze Consultant population to adjust recruiting efforts to align with market trends. Continually replenishes the Applicant pool for both "pipeline" and "just in time" marketplace needs.
Execute a multi-faceted sourcing strategy that puts you in front of your target audience - professional organizations, community programs, conferences, job fairs, internet sites, print ads, etc. Develop creative sourcing techniques and implement appropriate sourcing strategies to attract new talent. Identify and leverage new technology, tools, and processes that are considered best practices in the industry.
Effectively use technical and behavioral interviewing techniques to increase success in hiring exceptional professionals. Understand the critical competencies that are unique to each role and demonstrate advanced skill in assessing Applicants for Consultant and management positions.
Possess a superior understanding of Consultants' skill sets and reasons for joining Resources; cultivate strong relationships with Consultants and "champion" them for long term success with the Company.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to successfully reengage Consultants and support them as they transition from engagements.
Conduct yearly compensation reviews that are market driven and equitable across the consulting group.
Provide performance feedback / performance improvement guidance, to Consultants after each project, and as needed. Ensure that Consultants have an open forum to express concerns.
Develop a plan for regularly reaching out to Consultants through planned lunches, New Hire Orientation, Consultant conference calls, quarterly business meetings, etc. Respond in a timely manner to all Consultant inquiries.
Prepare and conduct termination discussions with Consultants, as needed. Perform Exit interviews in a way that ensures departing Consultants feel positive about their Resources experience.
Build An Elite Brand- Demonstrate an advanced ability to position both sides of the business - business development and recruitment. Have a thorough knowledge of all our practice areas and promote the overall abilities of the Company.
Establish a networking plan geared towards attracting new talent and nurturing long term business relationships that result in a network of potential applicants. Take a visible role in at least one organization as an active member or a committee lead in order to elevate our brand within the business community.
Develop and execute a plan to encourage Consultant participation in networking and providing referrals.
Build an active Resources Alumni and lost Applicants' network through regular communication and planned events.
Build a Highly Effective and Compliant Recruiting Process. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail so that all administrative needs connected with the recruiting process (EEO compliance, reference calls, background checks, data management entry, Profiles, etc.) are handled accurately and timely.
Create and maintain high quality Consultant profiles and resumes that are consistent with the Resources standard format for use as primary business development tools.

Professional Qualifications:
A minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant recruiting experience and strong knowledge of the Financial Services industry. Prior professional services experience is preferred.
A Bachelor's degree from a four year accredited institution is required; CPA preferred.
