Callison, a world leader in retail and mixed-use design, is actively seeking a New Business Director. This is afull time field sales position for the North Eastern Region of the US.
This position is designed to expand the Retail Business for Callison (New York) office by securing new clients. The right person for this position will have demonstrated success in developing clients in the retail market against million dollar + quotas for at least 5 years. The focus of this position is the Specialty Retail Markets, including but not limited to: retail, corporate interiors, campus, call centers, mission critical, executive offices, trading floors and wealth management.

KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To drive aggressive business growth through a pro-active, differentiated and effective new business and marketing strategy, and to make sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To create and lead a regional client acquisition strategy, working closely with senior management team. This needs to open new strategic accounts and relationships for Callison
To effectively articulate the Callison proposition and vision to key decision makers at target new business prospects and to develop a tailored approach and contact strategy for each defined prospect.
To build relationships with each of these prospects, to fully assess and understand their business agenda and long term strategic requirements
To have a deep understanding of each prospects business and be able to effectively articulate Callison services to meet their needs.
To keep abreast of all new business activity/change in the industry, including developing and maintaining strong relationships with relevant third parties and consultants.
New business is the lifeblood of an agency – ensure that all necessary resources for the successful closing of new clients are managed effectively and efficiently.
To have ultimate responsibility for the selection and delivery of all marketing materials, including the preparation and articulation of refreshed credentials, case studies, brochures and proposals.
To represent Callison industry reputation as an innovative, dynamic and ambitious agency/ firm with whom like minded clients should work. To generate a ‘buzz’ about the agency/ firm which will generate ‘talkability’ and interest in our work.
To introduce and develop third party relationships which can enhance our proposition.
To identify and attend (as required) relevant industry events and networking opportunities and represent the agency/ firm accordingly.
To lead the new business process and pitch approach, through to final presentation, out of New York office.
