Director, Military Training Solutions Business Unit
Northrop Grumman Technical Services Division is looking for a seasoned, highly accomplished Business Unit Director (BU), for a Military Training Solutions BU. This position requires:
Strong Military background in operations and technology.
Full understanding and working knowledge of both the Military and Corporate Business world on strategy, global initiatives and growing the business.
Strong business acumen on leadership of the program and the team members.
Responsibilities:
Lead a multiple program Business Unit with annual revenue of greater than $150M, which contains the following type contracts: Joint and Coalition, Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine training contracts and vehicles for individual and unit level Command and Control .
Ensure financial goals; Awards, Return on Sales, Cash Flow and Margin are met for all programs listed above.
Ensure Non-Financial Performance Standards are maintained for Customer Satisfaction, Quality, Engagement, Diversity, Safety, and Environment.
Achieve and maintain Sector Priorities in the areas of Human Capital, Risk Management, Performance, Growth and Community Partner/Environmental Steward.
Basic Qualifications:
Military
Full Spectrum Warfare
Joint and all services training concepts and requirements
Training needs analysis, design, development, and execution of training programs for Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen, unit and leader training, plus staff and command post training
Virtual, constructive and immersive training environments for individual and all unit levels
Non-Kinetic and Cyber training and related services
Distance learning, Games for Training, and Low Overhead Driver Simulation
Direct experience in Proposal Writing and providing direction to the team
Experienced in Business Development pursuits, process and life cycle
Strong business acumen in Accounting, P&L, Finance etc.
A strong working knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures
Education
Bachelors Degree in Business Field or related
Mid and Senior Level Leader Education and/or Training in Military School System
Position requires frequent travel to CONUS locations. Candidate must be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance. Location of position is negotiable.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer candidate with active TS/SCI clearance.
Masters Degree desired.
