Scope of Responsibility/Expectation: Director Global Repair Services Lead and manage the worldwide Home Devices Repair Services Organization within the Motorola Mobility Home Business responsible for the repair & reverse logistics of 2.5 million set-top-boxes and modems per year. Primary deliverable is to provide repair services to our customers by managing a global network of 3rd party companies with 49 sites in 12 countries around the globe. Key performance indicators include; on-time-delivery, high-quality, competitive cost and valuable data - contributing to making Repair Services a competitive advantage for Motorola Mobility's Home business. Manage operational continuous improvement and strategic business transformation simultaneously. Lead a global organization that includes Repair & Reverse Logistics Supplier Managers, Repair Engineers, Customer Service Representatives. Partner with internal customers that include executive level business leaders, procurement, quality and finance. While the primary focus is the delivery of service, there is an increasing emphasis on business development and revenue growth strategies
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
Requirements: 10 years Repair and or Reverse Logistics Management Experience required Managing and interacting with global teams and experience preferred Demonstrate management of operational continuous improvement Ability to formulate executive-level partnerships desirable Set top box & cable modem product knowledge preferred.
