This position supports the Direct Sales division at the Phoenix, AZ National Sales Center.  The Direct Sales Recruiter will deliver high quality Inside Sales Agents, Management and professional-level candidates and advances the DISH Network brand across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the DISH Network selection process. This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at-large.  The main function of this position is to manage the full cycle recruitment for various staffing needs in a telesales-based environment. 


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Partner with hiring managers to scope job position to gain a solid understanding of not only the skills and educational requirements, but also to determine the qualities and attributes of a successful candidate for the specific team.
  • Mine, source and screen candidates, interview, set up interviews for hiring managers, administer assessments, conduct reference checks and extend job offers.
  • Continually grow the pipeline of qualified candidates through constant networking.
  • Strategically work with hiring managers through manpower planning to support them in their department growth.
  • Provide exceptional client service and full lifecycle recruiting.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.
  • Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house ATS to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
  • Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates.
  • Manages the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting.
  • Consults with department managers to determine appropriate human resources priorities.
  • Partner with Operations to identify talent needs, talent qualifications, and develop a sourcing plan to meet staffing gaps.
  • Participates in the review of operational business strategy and objectives to determine the implication on human resources objectives.
  • Envision and execute creative ideas to drive qualified applicant flow.
  • Contribute ideas and implement process improvements related to staffing
  • Post and maintain position announcements to job boards, local colleges, workforce centers, etc.
  • Source candidates to ensure a consistent, qualified applicant pool for salaried non-exempt and exempt positions.
  • Pre-screen resumes and coordinate in-house interviews with hiring managers.
  • Administer job-appropriate assessments to qualified candidates, including analyzing and tracking results.
  • Ensure new hire orientation goals for Inside Sales Associates are met.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of DISH Network HR policies and procedures to be able to communicate with departments on HR and Company initiatives, particularly those related to recruiting.
  • Reports recommendations and alternatives to human resources strategy to higher level managers.
  • Facilitate new hire on-boarding, including delivery of new hire orientation, benefits orientation, and other tasks
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if one occurs.

Bachelor’s Degree with at least one to three years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree with at least five years of relevant experience.
