Creative Director Campaigns & Special Projects - Art
Overview:
Create, develop and direct advertising for Macy's Wedding and Gift Registry business, Macy's Annual Events, as well as provide support for Macy's business partnerships with Martha Stewart and the Macy's Culinary Council. You will manage a team of Art Managers and Art Directors, and partner with internal and external teams to deliver innovative campaigns that demonstrate the ""Magic of Macy's"".
Key Accountabilities:
Demonstrates the ability to clearly communicate creative direction to a wide variety of designers, art directors, stylists, photographers, illustrators, etc.
Demonstrates a good working knowledge of current trends and talent - including photographers, stylists, illustrators and designers.
Works closely with the Copy Director to properly concept and drive the execution of creative campaigns.
Regularly presents ideas to and reviews project progress with VP Creative and SVP Creative Director.
Partners with marketing, event directors, and various external partners to create strong compelling and more effective campaigns.
Manages the large workload, demonstrates strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills, releases everything on time or as close to schedule as possible.
Hires, trains, coaches, develops, fosters an environment that promotes personal development, strong teamwork and an appreciation of diversity in our workplace.
Skills Summary:
Strong knowledge of design, art and type
10 years and Previous Management Experience preferred
Retail experience preferred
Ability to lead and develop team of Art Managers and Art Directors
Communication skills, especially with all levels of management
Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills
