Compensation Consultant Location: Herndon, VA Discipline Description: HR Req. Number: 11467 Employment Status: Full Time Functional Unit: Human Resources Openings: 1 Recruiter: J. Stewart Job Responsibilities: General Summary: Responsible for managing the company-wide compensation function and providing compensation expertise in support of the Human Resources Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Administer and design all pay programs, including annual bonus and merit process, maintaining a competitive stance within the applicable markets.2. Research tactical and strategic issues and recommend changes to compensation programs/philosophy as appropriate. Manage implementation, coordinating with other teams as necessary, of any approved initiatives.3. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation policy, procedure and administration by regularly conducting audits and maintaining resources related to current regulations.4. Design, develop, and administer incentive and recognition programs in support of company goals and philosophy.5. Conduct job analysis and evaluation for management, staff, and hourly positions as requested providing recommendation for titles, grades, and market value of positions.6. Manage the development and performance of assigned staff. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Software? Proficient with all MS Office Products? Advanced skills in MS Excel Databases?
