City San Ramon State/Province California [CA] Job Title Compensation Analyst - Corporate Internal ID 27207 Job Description Robert Half International is seeking a Compensation Analyst who will provide data for compensation surveys, both US and International positions. The Compensation analysit will provides salary range information to HR Business Partners, Recruiters and Managers. The scuessful candidate will ensure the accuracy of all reports referencing current salary structure, and review requests for new or revised job descriptions or CLMs to determine appropriate salary grade assignment. The Analyst will utilize survey data to market price the position against the external market and makes recommendation for appropriate job grade and corresponding salary range. The Analyst will also run monthly job code & employee reports and distributes as appropriate, and participates in semi-annual increase and bonus processes for both US & International Zones. This position coordinates system uploads and data audits as directed by the Sr. Compensation Analysts and Manager. The Compensation Analyst performs financial modeling for new or revised plans. This includes building models for such things as International Zone field bonus plans, Protiviti ICP, salary range changes, etc. The Analyst also acts as back up for Process Specialist. The scuessful candidate will work with Sr. Analysts and Manager on projects as they come up and prepare monthly bonus accruals and submit to Sr. Analyst or Manager for review and approval. Job Duties/Requirements . Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or equivalent work experience required. . 5 + years experience with Business Applications; strong understanding of accounting systems a plus. . 2 + years compensation or finance analysis experience required. . Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred. . Proficient in MS Office products with a strong proficiency in MS Excel, including charts, graphs, pivot tables and other advanced capabilities, PowerPoint is a plus. . PeopleSoft experience is a plus. . Experience running complex queries from a database required. . Must pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. . Must have the ability to take inititative and work independently. . Must be flexible to work within a fast-pace environment with firm deadlines. . Must be able to work with highly confidential data and maintain confidentiality at all times.
