The successful candidate must possess strong verbal, organizational, and written skills to perform the specified work requirements.
Serving as a communications specialist to assist and/or advise on a range of program activities requiring the development of brochures, monthly newsletters, and presentations that meet the speciifcations of Government standards.
Developing new methods, systems, and procedures in conjunction with a Strategic Planning Manager to improve the speed and quality of internal and external communications.
Updating the client's internal website to be used as a reliable, communication resource and recommending actions to achieve organizational and future program objectives and improvements.
Qualifications:
4-year degree in Communications, Business, Management, or related field
2-3 years of related work experience
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and tight deadlines, work independently and work in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 2003 or later with particular emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and other applicable database and office automation products.
