The Client HR Business Partner provides Human Resources services for designated clients ranging from 50-99 worksite employees and manages client relationships at all levels to ensure ADP Comprehensive Services is successfully helping clients achieve their business strategies.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates activities and facilitates timely delivery of services and projects to each client in all Human Resource functional areas to include: recruiting and on-boarding, compensation, performance management, benefits, payroll, employee relations, training and development, legal compliance, etc.
Responsible for driving results with clients, with the goal of increasing their satisfaction and retention.
CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for client retention in assigned client base; creating and executing an account strategy that will help develop a value-based relationship with each client.
Set and manage client expectations and activity, including identifying and developing additional service opportunities and coordinating delivery of ADP Comprehensive Services.
Conduct client meetings, including establishing and updating HR plans, setting goals and developing plans to meet set goals.
Ensure quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of all work delivered.
Understand and stay up-to-date on the client's business situation, strategy and HR needs.
Work with clients as a partner, keeping clients short and long-term HR goals in mind.
Participate in client HR planning meetings/decision-making.
Working with a distributed service team, will consult with clients and evaluate worksite needs in regards to HR services and proactively develop, implement, and monitor Comprehensive Service offerings which will directly impact the Human Resources effectiveness of client companies.
On an annual basis, recaps all activities completed on their behalf, discuss goals and objectives for upcoming year's plan.
Actively and consistently communicates with clients and schedules on-site client visits to ensure appropriate utilization of ADP Comprehensive Services offering.
As necessary, evaluates and acts as a point person for client contract questions, escalating them as needed.
Assumes account responsibility at time of client sale and coordinates with Implementation project management for Implementation success.
As part of Client Relationship Management, provide appropriate levels of consultation regarding HR products.
HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTING RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
RECRUITMENT & SELECTION:
Provides direction and coaching on establishing legally compliant pre-employment practices and on boarding process guidance.
Works to analyze client staffing needs and to assist clients in establishing a recruiting strategy to select qualified candidates for current and future job openings, as appropriate.
Benefits:
Works with the ADP Comprehensive Services Support teams, ADP Relationship Management, consultants and brokers to provide information about benefits, market trends and ensures that the client benefit renewal process is well managed and understood.
Assists clients with their benefit election process and benefit marketing material.
May conduct client renewal meetings and enrollment seminars.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT:
Partners with client to create effective training and development opportunities, such as job skill training, development plans, and interventions that align with the clients business strategies.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:
Maintains high-level of knowledge surrounding legal compliance, government reporting, policies and procedures.
Works with client to evaluates employee allegations and assists clients in taking appropriate action to ensure legally compliant, fair and consistent practices.
CLIENT TECHNOLOGY:
Works with ADP teams and the client to ensure the clients understanding and use of ADP Comprehensive Services offerings. Including marketing opportunities, such as employee perks, as well as functional applications.
NOTE: This position requires 25% travel
Qualifications Required
(Experience, Skills, Academic):
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree
PHR certification preferred
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
- Minimum of 5-7 years HR experience either in consulting or corporate environment and/or in and account management role
- Must have experience with multiple larger/complex clients, dealing with a broad range of HR related areas at Senior levels of organizations
- Ability to think strategically and to understand a client's underlying business and organizational issues to align ADP Comprehensive Services to support these
- Must possess an advanced understanding of business and the ability to quickly learn an organizations's strategy and industry
- Must be able to deal with ambiguity and cope with change
- Experience in a client service environment, handling multiple external clients and ability to present ideas and programs to Executives highly desirable
- Must be able to achieve results through formal channels and informal networks
- Effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills required; Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc) requiredNOTE: This position requires 25% travel
