Job Summary    The CBS Development Consultant Assistant Director provides facilitation, change management, coaching and other organizational effectiveness (OE) consulting expertise for business groups in CBS. The CBS Development Consultant assists in implementation of the CBS people strategy and sets priorities accordingly. Individuals in this role apply expert knowledge of programs and processes to facilitate implementation that fully meets business and people needs.   Responsibilities

• Serves as an expert resource in CBS for facilitation, change management consulting, training, OE communications, organizational listening and other OE consulting and support.
•  May serve as an executive coach in various business groups (approx 5% of role). Provides individual and team coaching and training in areas such as counselor support/training, mentoring, team effectiveness.
•  Provides cross practice implementation knowledge and support to people initiatives, programs and processes, including but not limited to: Balanced Scorecard, Global People Survey, People Point processes and facilitation and Inclusiveness programs.
•  Coordinates with other people team members including people team leaders and people consultants to understand the needs and effectively support specific businesses and people.
•  Surfaces learning needs, communicates and collaborates with CBS learning managers regarding those needs.
•  Serves as a resource for information, programs and processes developed in the People Development and OE Centers of Excellence.
•  Provides input and participates on COE design/development teams.
•  Provides career coaching support for leaders, as requested.
•  Provides input to communications targeted for employees and leaders.
•  Applies advanced principles and concepts to a wide range of work. Works independently on complex projects that may recur. Examples: Applies consultative approach model to identify and address business needs. Provides implementation expertise regarding people processes and programs in collaboration with business leaders.
•  At assistant director level, has established his/her knowledge of diverse people functions through extensive experience and is recognized for their expertise.
•  Often acts as a project manager for medium to large projects or oversees significant portions of major or highly complex projects (specifically related to CBS strategic alignment group initiatives)
•  Duties are varied in scope and require a broad knowledge base to perform.
•  Receives general direction rather than supervision. Work is reviewed for results achieved.

• Advanced capability in the following key skills: coaching, consulting, facilitation, supporting and leading change, strategic and conceptual thinking, influencing, project management
• Ability to quickly gain a thorough understanding of the firm and relevant businesses is required

    Experience

• A minimum of 7-10 years of work experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; Master's degree preferred
