Cashier-Valet Boston Logan Airport
Job Summary & Responsibilities Responsible for collecting and recording cash received for rental car receipts and customer parking fees, reconciling parking ticket payments, and completing parking logs and associated cash reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Collect and record cash, checks, traveler's checks, charge card, and non-charge transactions received from customers for parking charges and rental car receipts; provide appropriate change if needed.
2. Reconcile all parking ticket payments and non-charges received from customers with initial cash register amount.
3. Direct customers to available parking spaces in the lot; receive and respond to customer inquiries or complaints.
4. Log parking and associated cash reports and forward to appropriate personnel.
anize and maintain the cleanliness of the parking booth and parking areas.
6. Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of customers with driver via two-way radio.
7. Monitor lot at all times for security purposes.
8. Manually log all vehicles exiting the lot.
9. Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.
Qualifications Knowledge and Skill
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to operate a 10-key, envoy machine, and cash register.
• Ability to operate hand held check-in device.
• Good organizational skills when accounting for and/or reconciling cash with receipts.
• Ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
Req'd Education and Experience • High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid driver's license as required by state
