Job Description
Summary:
This section focuses on the main purpose of the job in one to four sentences.
Responsible for pulmonary sales activities including Identifying and starting new AATD patients on Glassia and/or Aralast NP, new physician development and/or expanding existing physicians within an established geographic territory, maintaining our current Alpha-1 patients via working closely with SPP Branches/Reps, and Driving AATD testing with high decile MDs. Can cover a large geographic territory, have strong selling skills, clinical knowledge of AATD and COPD, and can implement a customer strategy with key MDs. Develops KOLs in the prescribed territory and demonstrates strong business acumen.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of this role that account for 90% or more of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties assigned.
•Responsible for driving new patient starts on Glassia and Aralast NP with our high decile physicians. Implement Alpha one Sales Process and strategies to attain and retain new patients we start on treatment.
•Calls on prospective customers, masters effective sales presentations, provide technical and clinical product information and/or demonstrations, and maintains compliance to our promotional and expense policies.
•Monitors sales against forecasts and adjusts business tactics based on territory dynamics
•Works closely with customer service, Insides sales, payor team, Market Access, and patient advocates to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quick on-boarding of new AATD patients.
•Provides feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel for the development of marketing policy, recommended product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes.
•Promotes the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities.
•Works closely with their SPP counterparts to facilitate new patient starts. Engages with all Baxter services to drive disease state awareness and maintain business..
•Drives strong Territory Business management, Customer strategy, and Selling skills/clinical knowledge in line with our critical behaviors.

Must have good organization and time management skills. Ability to understand and adapt to customers' changing needs. Demonstrates business acumen and strong knowledge of sales processes.

Bachelor's degree with a 5+ years of successful, relevant healthcare sales experience.
