Benefits CoordinatorMercy Medical Center is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join our team of professionals in the Human Resources department. The Benefits Coordinator will collect, prepare and input data necessary to maintain the proper benefit structure. Will administer all benefit and pension plans and programs, act as a liaison with medical TPA's for resolving employee concerns. Will also coordinate distribution of employee notifications regarding changes in benefits in accordance with compliance guidelines, assist in the implementation, administration and communication of employee benefit plans including pension plans. Assists in the completion of benefit surveys, act as the department's super-user for the HRIS system and prime contact for employees questions relating to benefits. Assist in the development of benefit communications and coordinate all updates to documents that contain benefit information. Provide benefit TPA's data required. Review monthly medical/dental plan reports and advise management of any significant changes. Qualified candidates will possess a High school diploma required, College degree preferred. 2-5 years of HR and Benefits experience is required. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to adapt to new situations and ability to work with many different personality types.
