A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a transformational HR team. We are looking for a world class HR Business Consultant to be responsible for consulting with Senior LOB leaders in efforts to influence how they utilize and grow their employee population. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of how to provide high quality Human Resource service delivery through their use of superior consultative skills. There are 6 key HR functions we provide strategy, planning and implementation in, they are:
• HR Business Planning
• Talent Management
• Organizational Design
• Organizational Effectiveness
• Relationship Management, and
• Change Management
Functional Responsibilities
• Primary HR interface to Senior Leadership business clients
• Provide leadership, direction, and expertise to enable Senior Leaders to manage large-scale business and enterprise events
• Partner with business clients to build and execute human capital plan in achievement of overall business strategy, objectives, and goals
• Coordinate with clients to ensure delivery of additional HR Resources, such as, Learning and Development, Talent Management, Compensations, etc… in effort to diagnose, develop, and deliver timely, comprehensive, and relevant solutions to the client
• Offer thought and policy leadership on human capital issues to clients
• Leverage existing HR resources to ensure delivery of timely, relevant, and efficient HR operational
• Work and communicate effectively across HR and client organization
• Assist in building a fluid organizational culture
• Build HR capabilities within client organization
• Ensure compliance with all pertinent HR-related laws and regulations
• Contribute to enterprise-scale initiatives and projects
Job Requirements/Key Competencies/Experience Required
• Ten or more years of strong HR consulting skills
• Ten or more years of progressive HR Business Partner roles
• Knowledge of overall HR products and service delivery to clients
• 5 plus years HR Project Management experience
• 5 plus years people management experience
• 5 plus years of demonstrated thought leadership
• Ability to operate individually and in teams
• Ability to operate effectively with ambiguity
• Excellent interpersonal skills: communications; written and verbal skills, relationship and collaboration skills, conflict mediations skills, negotiation skills, change leadership, and steward ship skills
• Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
• 5 plus years Insurance industry experience
• Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Social Science, Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent, Masters Degree a high plus; preferably in Social Science, Human Resources, Management, or Organizational Development/Design
