Territory (if applicable): Corporate Business Unit: Corporate encompasses the core operational support for all Land O'Lakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Market Strategy and Communications, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Affairs. Position Purpose: The Area Human Resources Manager will provide HR leadership, business partnering, and organizational design and change support to the union and nonunion plant locations in Pennsylvania and New York State. Multi-site/cross-business HR management will include: 1) overseeing and consulting on Talent Management processes such as recruitment and selection; internal talent movement; performance management and career development; 2) promoting and facilitating effective utilization of learning and development tools and programs; 3) responding to and consulting on general and escalated employee relations issues; 4) designing programs with business functional partners; and 5) partnering with the Businesses to facilitate and support workforce and organizational changes. Required (Basic) Experience & Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field along with a minimum of 8-10 years progressive H.R. Generalist experience. Prior Labor Relations, Contract Administration, Collective Bargaining, and multi-site Human Resources experience required. Required Competencies & Other Skills: Strategy Architect, Culture & Change Steward, Talent Manager/Org Designer, Business Ally, Operational Executor, Credible Activist, Labor and Employee Relations experience Preferred Experience & Education: Master's Degree in Human Resources, Labor and Employee Relations, or Business is preferred Preferred Competencies & Other Skills: Collective Bargaining experiences, preferably 1ST Chair, Grievance Administration, Union Avoidance and Positive Employee Relations experience Percentage of Travel: 25% Land O'Lakes, Inc. offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, retirement savings account, tuition reimbursement, PTO, paid holidays, and employee development opportunities.
