Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator

Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America is seeking an experienced Administrator to manage and direct daily clinical and administrative activities a new surgery center in development in Manhattan. The Administrator will work in partnership with staff and surgeons to achieve best possible patient outcomes.

Position requires knowledge and experience with licensure, AAAHC accreditation, regulatory compliance, inventory management, quality improvement, risk management, managed care and third party payer negotiations.

Financial management responsibilities include bank accounts, budget, cash flow, AP/AR, and financial statements.

Human resources responsibilities will include continuous training, supervision and retention of personnel; recruitment and selection to fill positions as needed; employee benefit administration.

Requirements:

Ideal candidate will have:
- Current RN license with operating room experience
- Masters Degree in business or healthcare
- Healthcare management experience
- Excellent computer and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, are essential to success in this position.
- Ability to function well under pressure and deadline; be a detail-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Effective management and problem solving skills
- Professional and positive interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills.
